Octoni Family

Yar-borg Octoni was born to an Ardayan family in Qaisumah, a city on the western edge of Tears of Manat lake in the Endless Desert. His talent as a blacksmith, described as “mediocre slightly” by those who knew him by reputation, fell on hard times. Fueled by poor decisions and lackluster talent against a rising tide of stiffing competition in the blacksmith community, debts mounted and facing ultimate bankruptcy he cut bait and uprooted his family for parts unknown. In the Nabatean Trade City of Avdat he took the first slow boat to anywhere, which landed him and his young family in the port city of Augstat in Hesse.

In a city the size of Augstat, his mediocre slightly talent was able to hide and even flourish slightly in Guildhaus, the noisy District of Guilds where he opened, “Octoni Armory & Smith Works”.

Carleena, Yar-borg’s elven wife, is a dark complexion “desert elf”. While desert elf is not an official sub-species of elven, it describes a small sect of wilder elves who prefer desert oasis living over traditional forests of their kindred.

Godi, is the son of Yar-borg’s first wife, Ina’am who died during childbirth.

Yonnus and Yasmin are Carleena’s children from an estranged relationship Yar-borg later released them from.
