Fairy Goodmother, who is also known as Roccafina, appears in the heavens seated comfortably on her storytelling stool, a broad-brimmed hat obscuring the Anumian Book of An from onlookers as she recites stories from the ages.
Fairy Goodmother invites us to gather together and share stories, for this how great deeds are remembered, and evil doers shamed; and if we must embellish the story a bit to make our point, there’s no harm in that.
Fairy Goodmother gets along well with most anumians, but can often be found in the company of Dreamer, Fey, Grave Robber, and Victory, who are especially intrigued with her stories. Fairy Goodmother is generally shunned by the anumians who are often villains in her stories, particularly Devil, Hate and Monster. She is best friends with Librarian, who keeps her storybooks safe.
Fairy Goodmother will aid mortal companions who carry her fate card in any action that involves enthralling an audience with stories, including documenting the stories or selling them to a publisher. Fairy Goodmother is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Fairy Goodmother Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Fairy Goodmother is Called
If Fairy Goodmother answers a calling---when her card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Fairy Goodmother, like the smell of old parchment, a whisper of children reciting a nursery rhyme, or a vision of an ancient cave painting.
Fairy Goodmother might ask seekers to stop and document their stories or find someone who will. Fairy Goodmother will often send a seeker on some journey that is destined to be a great story.
