Victory

Victory appears in the heavens as an Akkadian professional soldier holding up a sword in victory celebration. In her other hand, she grips the neck of a defeated opponent.  On rare occasions, the anumian constellations Victory and Defeat come together to form a super constellation.

Victory challenges us to be victorious, to be on the winning team, and to win fair and square.

Victory keeps Fairy Goodmother informed of victories and other glorious deeds so that they might find their way into her tales. Victory despises Schemer, for Victory abhors a tainted win. Victory is rivals with Defeat and they have fought each other inconclusively on multiple occasions. Victory is close friends with Amazon, each recognizing the other as strong symbols of the power of women. Victory is sometimes accompanied by Slave Master, who takes the unfortunate wretches captured in her wars into captivity.

Victory will aid mortal companions who carry her fate card in any action that is directly competitive, on a level playing field. Victory is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Victory Week, or anytime for those born in this week.

When Victory is Called

If Victory answers a calling---when her card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Victory, like the sound of cheering crowds, a feeling of pride, or the sight of fireworks bursting in air.

Victory will typically ask seekers to go forth and engage their rival, carefully, with much planning, and then beat him or her fair and square.
