Beast appears in the heavens as a massive wild boar with long curved tusks.
Beast invites us to embrace our violent nature. Beast reminds us that our charade of civilization is but a thin veneer masking our true animal instincts. At times, we must remove our masks and allow the beast to rage.
Beast is enemies with Huntsman, who sees Beast as prey. Beast sometimes does the bidding of Giant Giant.
Beast will aid mortal companions who carry his fate card in any action that involves skilled wilderness survival. He lends his aid to those who hunt, forage, track, or live off the land, using simple tools. He is associated with deeply emotional feelings, rage violence, or actions intended to destroy signs of civilization. Beast is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Beast Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Beast is Called
If Beast answers a calling---when his card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Beast, like a distant bone-chilling howl, a vivid mental image of a heinous act, or a ravenous thirst for blood.
In the artwork of the Beast fate card the seer might be drawn to the destruction left in the wake of Beast’s charge, the sheer size of Beast as it towers over buildings and topples trees, or the woman who stands arms open wide, as if welcoming the end.
Beast will typically ask seekers to undermine civilization in some way, commit a violent act, or to immerse themselves into a more natural lifestyle.
