Schemer

Schemer appears in the heavens as a sinister, otherworldly, female magician with puppet strings hanging from her fingers.

Schemer works toward the downfall of the current order, this includes governments, religions, and power structures. She is a master manipulator who excels at getting others to do her bidding.

Schemer views all anumians as her pawns, so she might be seen with any of them. She is despised by King and Queen, for they represent the established order, and by Victory, who abhors a shallow triumph.

Schemer will aid mortal companions who carry her Fate Card in any action that involves convincing others to do something that is not in their best interest, typically by providing them inaccurate or incomplete information. Schemer is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Schemer Week, or anytime for those born in this week.

When Schemer is Called

If Schemer answers a calling---when her card is drawn from a Fate Deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Schemer, like the physical feeling of puppet strings attached to them, a sudden sense of paranoia, or a vision of a shadow inside of a shadow.

Schemer will typically ask seekers to use others to advance the seeker’s goal, or to engage in some form of subterfuge that obfuscates the seeker’s true motive. Often, these goals further the goals of Schemer as well, for once you have called upon Schemer, you are forever a part of her web of deceit.
