Mutant

Mutant appears in the heavens as a massively malformed thing—once an orc perhaps, now... who can tell.

Mutant reminds us to see past the deformities of others, to put less stock in appearances and perceived disabilities. They invite us to conquer vanity and find beauty where we least expect it, thus opening new avenues for self-expression.

Mutant is allied with Hate, for both are shunned and misunderstood by other anumians and society at large. Mutant sometimes compares scars with Mentalist.

Mutant will aid mortal companions who carry their fate card in any action that involves seeking or implementing a radical, physical transformation, from something as simple as piercings and tattoos to something more dramatic, like Marn graphs or mutations. Mutant is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Mutant Week, or anytime for those born in this week.

When Mutant is Called

If Mutant answers a calling---when their card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Mutant, like a shocking illusion of bodily change, the momentary pain of an amputation, or a sudden lust for power.

Mutant will typically ask seekers to undergo some sort of radical, physical transformation, like taking a swim in the Greymory Wastes, or getting a Marn graft in Carpental.
