Musician invites us to listen to the music of the world, not only the music of song and instrument, but the music of nature such as the sound of wind in the grass or a babbling brook. Musician also encourages us to create music and to develop our aptitude for doing so.
Musician is allies with Ballerina and Grief, for song is an essential element of Grief’s lamentations and Ballerina’s dance.
Musician will aid mortal companions who carry her fate card in any action that involves musical aptitude, whether for entertainment, lamentation, or enchantment. Musician is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Musician Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Musician is Called
If Musician answers a calling---when her card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Musician, like the sound of a fiddle, or perhaps a sound from nature with an uncanny melody.
In the artwork of the Musician fate card the seer might be drawn to any of a number of objects that can create sound, some of which are musical instruments, like the fiddle, the flute, or the drum. Other objects are the leaves blowing in the wind, chimes hanging from a tree branch, or the waterfalls.
Musician will typically ask seekers to develop some aptitude for musical performance or composition.
