Warrior appears in the heavens as a professional Muromachi warrior.
Warrior invites us to fight for what we believe in. While the fight may be physical, fights are also fought day-to-day in places of employment, households, courts of law, church gatherings, and even as internal struggles of conscience. In all arenas, Warrior encourages us to find our inner strength and fight for what is important. Warrior admonishes us not to feel defeated by past loss or shame, for each of us, in each moment, has the opportunity to fight.
Warrior is friend to both Amazon and Warband, although they are foes of each other; he urges them to forget about the past and will sometimes appear and break up their fight. Warrior is enemies with Defeat, who will eventually haunt all warriors. Warrior is often allied with Commander in some great cause.
Warrior will aid mortal companions who carry his fate card in any action that involves fighting for one’s beliefs, in actions where the mortal takes a risk to stand up for what they believe in. Warrior is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Warrior Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Warrior is Called
If Warrior answers a calling---when his card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Warrior, like the sound of a meditative chant, the anguish of a heavy emotional burden, or a sudden epiphany of what must be done.
Warrior will typically ask seekers to assist someone who is fighting earnestly for what they believe in, someone of strong moral fabric who deserves aid.
