Monster appears in the heavens as a formless abomination peering out of black rift.
Monster preys on our deepest fears. Resistance to Monster is hopeless, for Monster cannot be beaten, cannot be reasoned with, and there is no place you can go where Monster won’t find you.
Monster is enemies with all anumians. Even Beast and Hate avoid Monster.
Monster will aid mortal companions who carry its fate card in any action that involves avoiding something greatly feared, like hiding or running away. Monster is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Monster Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Monster is Called
If Monster answers a calling---when Monster’s card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Monster, like a feeling of dread, a movement out of the corner of one’s eye, or the sound of a distant, terrified, scream.
Monster will typically ask seekers to go someplace terrifying, like a haunted house, or perhaps a cemetery that has been closed due to sightings of the living dead.
