Vagabond

Vagabond appears in the heavens as an impoverished wanderer, carrying all his worldly possessions on his back. The only thing that has seen more miles than his weary road stained feet is his Tramp Walking Stick.  Legends say, the Olympian goddess Plane, so impressed by Vagabond's wanderlust, she gave him the magical stick so that he'd always have something to lean on in his travels.

Vagabond invites us to leave our responsibilities and embrace life on the road. Vagabond promises us that freedom, romance, and adventure await those who wander.

Vagabond can sometimes be found with Dreams, for he is a dreamer, sharing an ale with Drunk, or sharing the road with Grave Robber or Prodigal.

Vagabond will aid mortal companions who carry its fate card in any action whatsoever, provided that the companion does not have a home, a job, responsibilities, or any goals other than an open-ended desire for travel and adventure. Vagabond is particularly inclined to support companions during Vagabond Week, or anytime for those born in this week.

When Vagabond is Called

If Vagabond answers a calling---when Vagabond is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Vagabond, like itchy feet, a sudden curiosity about some faraway place, or distant, seductive music.

Vagabond loves nothing more than to lure seekers to his lifestyle, perhaps by asking them to leave their job, leave their home, leave their spouse, or simply to abandon everything in favor of a life on the road.
