Moon

Moon appears in the heavens as a cool blue white orb etched with queenly feminine features. Even though Moon is sometimes spotted during the daylight hours, Moon shines brightest at night. The phases of Moon are depicted by how much of Moon we can see, from profile to full.

Moon admonishes us to respect the laws and traditions of anumians. The order in which anumians manifest throughout the year, which forms the very basis for Chaldea’s calendar and the seasons of the year, is the domain of Moon. Moon has a special relationship with Sun, for they hold court together, and Moon is the only anumian who will sometimes stay in the sky during the daylight of Sun.

Moon is active on most nights, but shines particularly brightly the first night of a new week, when she makes sure the anumian who is manifest this week shows up on time, fit for action.

Moon will aid mortal companions who carry its fate card in any action that strives to correct any lapses in law and order. Moon is particularly inclined to support these actions at night.

When Moon is Called

If Moon answers a calling---when Moon is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor manifestations of Moon’s presence, like a chill breeze from the night sky, the cool glint of silver, or the distant sound of a wolf howling.

Moon will typically ask seekers to help others in their basic needs for survival. Moon takes seriously the importance of seasons, and the integration of seasons with farming, herding, and survival, and has great sympathy for those who struggle just to get by.
