Magician appears in the heavens as a regal Somacian woman recursively appearing within herself—in arcane circles she is known as the "Droste Magician".
Magician invites us to explore the wonders of magic and to seek out the hidden secrets of the universe.
Magician is friends with Librarian, for they both pursue knowledge. Magician can sometimes be found negotiating the nature of reality with Dreamer, or the nature of the cosmos with Mentalist.
Magician will aid mortal companions who carry its fate card in any action that involves pursuing knowledge of arcana. Magician is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Magician Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Magician is Called
If Magician answers a calling---when it’s card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Magician, like the presence of an elemental force (fire, wind, water, or earth), the sound of a word of power, or the scent of ammonia.
Magician will typically ask seekers to open a mysterious door, perhaps a door that did not exist until this moment, and discover what’s on the other side.
