Greed

Greed appears in the heavens as a wild-eyed dwarf, clutching the greatest of  treasures.

Greed stimulates our desire for riches, beauty, craftsmanship, or power. Greed urges us onward to find and take such things for ourselves.

Greed is allies with Lust, for they see the world similarly. Greed is sometimes enlisted by Devil to aid in temptation. Prodigal sometimes offers encouragement to victims of Greed. Greed preys on Fat Merchant, who is an easy target for Greed’s mischief.

Greed will aid mortal companions who carry its fate card in any action that involves pursuit of something when the primary motive is greed. Greed is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Greed Week, or anytime for those born in this week.

When Greed is Called

If Greed answers a calling---when his card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Greed, like an uncontrollable desire to take something nearby, the taste of sugar, or a vision themselves wallowing in gold.

Greed will typically possess seekers with a deep yearning that festers and grows until it becomes impossible to ignore.
