Commander invites us to embrace grand ambitions and strive toward greater goals. Commander reminds us that if we recruit allies and collaborators to our cause, anything is possible.
Commander is often found with Universe, for nothing is as big and grand as the universe. Sailor and Warrior are often found doing Commander’s bidding. Commander fears Defeat.
Commander will aid mortal companions who carry his fate card in any action that involves naval or military administration or command. Commander is particularly inclined to support these sorts of actions during Commander Week, or anytime for those born in this week.
When Commander is Called
If Commander answers a calling---when his card is drawn from a fate deck during the ritual for summoning aid from anumians---the seeker and the seer will experience minor supernatural manifestations of Commander, like the taste of salt water, the sound of a war horn, or a momentary blast of icy-cold wind.
In the artwork of the Commander Fate Card the seer might wonder what the man sees through his spyglass, about the nature of the portal that seems somehow suspended in the sky, or the creature lurking in the watery depths below the ships.
Commander will typically ask seekers to embark on a grand quest, often of epic proportions. At other times, Commander may send the seeker to help in some military action that will happen in the near future.
