Cloud Forger Mountains are one of the two dominant mountain chains in Niessia, the other being the Divinity Mountains.
The Cloud Forgers extend from the northern coast all the way south to the Tavja-Somacia border.
This range serves a strategic role for the kingdoms of Jotunholm and Tavja. In Jotunholm, these mountains provide a vast landscape of alpine terrain suitable for the giants living there, who find temperate hill country to be blistering hot and deserts to be completely uninhabitable. In Tavja, the mountains constitute an environment difficult to navigate on foot but easy for Tavjans to fly over on their steeds, their famed winged lions.
